Windy, windy, windy...did I mention windy? It didn't take long to figure out that the bass weren't cruising like they were last weekend. Instead, they were holding very tight to wood cover on wind-blown flats...you practically had to get hung up to get bit. We caught a boatload of keeper spots and one LM just a tad over 5lbs. All spots came on either a Lucky Craft rattler in red craw/chartreuse (which I no longer have due to a $15 catfishemoAngry) or a Zoom Big Critter craw in watermelon/red flake. The LM fell for my homemade chatterbait. Average water temp was 67.
