Hiwassee water clarity

Last weekend the river was so muddy that you could literally see your line slicing through particulate. Has it improved over the past few days? I'm most interested in the stretch from Gunstocker Creek down to the merger with the Tennessee.

If you ask me that part of the river always looks like chocolate milk. The water isn't what I would call clear until you get above Olin Chemical and Bowaters.
