Hook Sharpening

I dont have time to sharpen hooks ive been told i think it is christmas time all year im always decorating a tree emoLaugh

I sharpen most of my hooks. The main one's I hit with a arkansas stone are my fly hook..They take me too much time to tie up than to break down and replace hooks and retie.

If and when my hooks get dull I sharpen them up with a file that I keep in my boat. I usually get them on sale for less than a dollar at ACE hardware or somewhere else. The last forever and if the file gets rusty I just get another. You can spend a lot on files and wet stones, etc. but the file works just as well and is cheap.
