How many PB's for 2007 did you get?

With the help of some great fishermen by the likes of EricM, Cheez, DOC1, team-d, Drumking, Cathooker & Bubbakat, and of course Fat Albert, (didnt fish w/him, but he fixed all my rods!) I caught personal bests this year for all these species: </p>

Spotted bass 1.75lbs</p>

Smallmouth 2.5lbs</p>

Black crappie 13"</p>

White crappie 12.5"</p>

Blue catfish 20lb</p>

Skipjack of unknown wieght

</p>

Striper/rockfish 12lbs on 4lb test</p>

Drum 10lb on 4lb test. </p>

Golden shiner...does that count?</p>

4 anchors, 2 trot-lines, and a REALLY nice deck chair!</p>

I know some may laugh at my "small" PB's, but I dont care, I fish for fun and fryer! I had a blast catching all of them, and to have a great 2008 as well!

Well, even though I didn't know it at the time and was ridiculed a bit emoGoofy for it, I did catch a sweet 5.5lb spot Bigfish guide pointed out the error of my ways!

Drum 16-17 lbs (don't remember the exact weight)

Most bass landed in one day (with Alvin) - 141

Most bass landed solo - 70

Spur hunter I like the deck chair most of all. I caught one on the hawissie a few years back. Belive it or not it was an old wooden chair with a cement block on wrapped around it. The best I casn figure it was pulled off boat by a big fish and and the chair just happened to get in the way and got tangled up in the mess. Any way I was bottom fishing for cats and snaged the chair and block. I had a heavy rod and line and managed to get it up off the bottom. My wife absolutely loved that wooden chair. It is and will for ever more be in the kitchen/nook area of my home and is the strongest piece of furniture in the house.

Spot- maybe 2 lbs or so, never really caught any before moving down here

Blue-66 lbs in January

Flathead-2nd best fish I've caught, 16 lber in april on nickajack

smallmouth-19.5 inches

Brown Trout-caught my first ever brown trout in Michigan during labor day weekend at 10 inches

Muskey-first ever muskey at 35 inches

my only pb was total weight in a tx on nickajack,which was 20.5lbs in the castle tx.also had a 6.8lb largemouth in that tx,which is my pb during a tx.hopefully i will exced both of these in 2008.

Didnt get very many Personal Bests this year , but the quality and numbers just keeps getting better 05 and 06 was better for large fish .. I really didn't get to fish much this year in comparison to years past. Every personal best I manage to hook this year was lost at the boat or shore emoBawl .

One Day I need to get all my fish pictures reprinted alot I only have the negatives of .. so many never had a camera around. that is one thing that being on the forum has done , I now bring the camera 90% of the time, not 2% of the time! emoDoh

Set a personal best in in number of days fished in 07 - 358. Some days just a few minutes from my dock. Gonna try for 366 this year. In 06 I fished only 341.

The only PBs coming from me this year are when fishing with a partner. We've reached around 9 or more pounds counting only our best 5 spotted bass of the day. This happened twice this year, only at Parksville with Shane one day and with my Mom another day. </p>

I'm not talking largemouth. 9lbs isn't that much for 5 best largemouth. But for 5 spotted bass, that's not to bad. </p>

I hope to go over 10lbs one day this year (w/best 5 spats)  This will be my little goal!</p>

Crappie - 2.5lbs on yellow spinnerbait</p>

Catching 5 largemouth on horny toads at Parksville in one day. (4/5 were keepers)</p>

But my greatest record of all came in 2006 (which I hope to break in 2008)... Is catching 51 largemouth in 4 hours!</p>

I also hope to break my 9lbs 2oz largemouth PB this year in Florida. </p>
