My pb blue cat got broken 5 times in 07 and stands now at 44 pounds. I had a pb drum caught on 4# that weighed in at 16 pounds.

I enjoy Bluegill fishing. This year my fishing partner Archie and I counted only the fish we filleted each day. Filleted 4,412 fish. Approx. 500 were Crappie and the rest Bluegill. You would think catching a TARP 10" Bluegill would be easy. Did not catch the first one. Archie caught 2 - 10" Bluegill and Perch Jerker caught 1 - 11" Bluegill. My goal this year is to catch a 10" Bluegill.

Big fish I caught this year:

2 - 11" Shellcrackers

1 - 17-1/2" Crappie

1 - 29 lb. Carp (on 4 lb.test line)

Thanks to all that posted a fishing report on CFF this year. Kept me informed of weather/water conditions and fired up to go fishing.

Since I've only been at this since last August, I've caught several PB's:</p>

LM = 23.5" - 7 #</p>

Crappie = 14" - 1.5#</p>

Cat = 31" - 15#</p>

Bluegill = 8.5" - .5#</p>

Drum = 8#</p>

My PB smallmouth came in late 2006 (17.5" - 3#)...my 2007 PB SM was 16.25" - 3#.</p>

It was fun to read about all of your PB's. Thanks for sharing them and thanks to DHaun for this site so we can be in touch with our own fishing community. Congratulations to all of you who have posted or not. Hang on to the memories of those days that you accomplished them and I wish you fun, adventure, and safety as you try for more in 2008. I came up with a few for myself and have a long list of hopes for this year.

Largemouth -- 6.4 lbs.

Smallmouth -- 4.3 lbs.

Catfish -- 15 lbs. (Not on purpose but I'll take it)

Won my first tournament -- 20 lbs. 6 oz.

Fished and won my first dogfight with Fishheadspin -- 10 lbs. ? oz.

Making CFF friends! Value cannot be measured.
