I try for once a week, but usually it is 2-3 times a month. Some times I fish 10-12 weeks in a row, and then don't go for a month. Some weekends I fish Fri, Sat, Sun. It probably balances out to once a week over the course of a year.
Kevo pretty much sums me up as well. Of course I had a 2 month timeout this summer recovering from an injury. My finger got caught in a battle between the trailer tongue and the bumper. LOL. Alls well now though.
Now through early June is when I go the most. Not many boats to contend with, I fish the least during the summer. Hate the heat, and only fish at night once or twice a month.
When the boats up and not giving issues, I average 3-4 times a week most of the year. I will slack off when winter hits hard. Unfortunately the boat has been problematic lately so my stats are quickly declining lol
uh huh....didn't you just tell me the other day that she kicks you out of the house cause you drive her nuts if you don't get your fishing fix????? lol
I am ashamed to admit that I only get out about once a month. It’s really embarrassing considering how easy it is for me to get on the lake. Life just seems to get in the way.
I try at least once a week, even if its just a couple of hours. I only started fishing again this past summer after many years. Never tried cold weather fishing but will do what I can this year.
I go in spurts when I'm not working (summer and winter) Sometimes I like to go for 10 days in a row then maybe take a day or two off. Summer and winter I try and go every chance I'm not on the road. I'd be out there right now if my back wasn't bothering me!
when i was fishing and guiding full time i literally fished every day for months on end and would do it now if i wasnt working full time. as it is now i fish some part or all of both days on the weekends. in the summer months i will go after work a couple nights a week and often walk around the shore in the mornings on the way to work. in the winter i will fish the weekends of course and usually take a day or part of day off during the week to get out. its been really cool the last few years, moving around has kept me motivated to learn the new bodies of water. if i started to get bored or stuck on a body of water i will take off for a weekend to another and different type of lake.
