Thanks alot goverment!

Made less this year, ...owe $200! Wheres the so called "tax break" at?

Are others seeing a HUGE change from previous years? I needed a few extra bucks IN my pocket to catch up bills...Oh well!

I did my own taxes in 30 minutes on Turbotax.com (free edition). H and R Block wanted to charge me $150. emoCrazy

I qualified for the first time homebuyers tax credit so I'm getting more money back this year than I have in all my years of filing taxes combined. emoParty emoParty emoParty

perchjerker - 2/4/2010 7:38 PM Maybe you should hire a better accountant?

i didn't think of having my girlfriend, your wife, do them.emoTongue 2 accountants did them.

We are getting the best return we have ever got. You are getting less back because they took out a little lower percentage of your checks last year. When Obama let's the Bush tax cuts expire we will be paying a lot.

Ahaaa Billy I beat you to it...

I LOVED Turbo tax, used them for about 6 years or so. Then my boss convinced me to have his accountant look over my turbo tax return before I submitted it.....DOUBLED my return. Been using him ever since.

Do you itemize?

I take ANYTHING the CPA's tell me I can legally, since I got a "review" about ten years ago, I dont push anything though. That was bad enough, cant imagine an audit. .

I've just always taken the standard deduction and get about $400 back each year. Not much to it when your single with only one w-2 to file. Just used the 1040 form and been done with it...

Use to use H&R block till someone convinced me to use a CPA, who charges about the same but really knows his stuff. He showed us things that we could have been writing off for years!emoBang Well worth the change! We are getting the best returnthis year we've ever got. Ill finally be able to get those long needed truck tires!

jack brown's tax service in soddy is the best place around to have them done. really nice, christian, family own business. and charges around 30-50 dollars to have them done.
