Wow, that's fantastic! I've been planning to buy one of these for a few months, and this just encorages my desire for one now that I've seen actual results.
I have seen these on ebay with the navigation maps included for ~$800 to $1100. Retail they are ~$1100 to $1200 with maps installed. From what I've read having the maps preinstalled is worth it.
My goal is to have one of these with a laptop using Dr. Depth (see this thread: Dr. Depth ) for the ultimate fish finding river mapping system!

Cheapest price I found online was at Electronics Leader and they have free shipping. They were cheaper than anybody I saw on eBAY afternoon, especially when you consider shipping. I ordered on a Monday afternoon and it was waiting on my doorstep when I got home Tuesday.

The NVB models have all the Navionics / Hot Maps 2007 Premium charts pre-loaded - so if you fish TN and AL you don't have to buy two separate SD cards and you get all of North America !!

My wife was sitting next to me when I realized you could mark a spot on the side image and have it show you where on the map it was in relation to your boat. She thought I must have seen a beautiful woman in next to nothing. My jaw dropped and I started to stammer incoherently.

If money allows get the 797 WITH the preloaded NAVIONICs chip. If you don't, like I didn't, the graph will only take one SD memory card and you have to swtich cards to snap photos or use the NAVIONICS hotspot card. Stinks...but I have to live with it now.

Besides that, if you fish in Al. and Tn. you will have to buy both cards at 150.00 each, plus tax. The Map Bundle being offered is a great value, and I believe with that purchase you get the 80.00 weather thingy free. Wish I was able to buy one myself, right now. But I stay in the doghouse so much, I better wait a while
