Apparently, someone in here took offense to the semi-bad experience that I had at the UT game and notified an admin. The post was altered by the admin to suit the desires of the complainer, but it made the post so silly it seemed as if I'd had a few bad experiences for no reason. Even though I had my personal space invaded and my wife and I were dog-cussed by a few obnoxious fans, the complaining member felt that those actions didn't bare mentioning as to why I might have taken offense, and asked that they be removed. With the post so cut up with corrections to suit the complainer, I just deleted it myself.

If you missed the post, there was no profanity (self-edited profanity, y*s indeed) or slanderous remarks. I did mention shoving someone who yelled at me from an inch away, but that was the extent of this PG post that hurt someone's feelings.

On the outside chance I offended someone who didn't complain, then I'm truly sorry and didn't mean any harm. You at least probably understood the issues and if you didn't like it, you just did the grown-up thing and went on to the next post without feeling like you had to PM admins to protect your fragile sensibilities. However, to the one(s) who chose to complain to an admin, then I'm also sorry. I'm sorry you're such a thin-skinned "adult" who apparently has nothing better to do than cast stones from afar. Please remember that if someone should dog-cuss you and your wife in public, you should turn the other cheek, refrain from action against them, and IMMEDIATELY contact a website admin to protect your blinders-on rights.

We still won the game. Complain about that all you want to whoever you want, but it won't change.

Its all good now though. I deleted my own post and I'm fine with it - really. ;)

Alabama did good... There are so many of these Tennessee and Alabama fans that are nuts at the games, I really don't see how they can cuss someone out in public who they don't even know... Isn't that just crazy? I didn't have a problem with your post. It was interesting!!

Lord..Im off the "Jerk List" LOL! Rob, your original thread was fine. I've edit my "not so nice" words in heated post. Someone just cant handle it. They must live in a different world than we do. Sorry.

Well my Brother Rob, I would have probably broke his jaw, or got my arse wooped one. I liked your post. Mostly because it takes some gonads to go into someone elses house with all your garb on and take the abuse that you did without ending up in trouble with the law. Who loves you man?

Too many pansies around here that get offended too easy. If you can't read a post without having to cry to an admin you probably shouldn't be hanging out here. Especially that post.

See what happens when you have a "complain" button. I liked your post rr, and saw nothing wrong with it. This crap has gotten way out of hand and it wouldnt be a problem if they would just let us post what we want, not what someone else wants to hear. emoEnforce In my opinion cff is turning into our very own government, next thing you know, someone will complain about mentioning GOD, and we wont be able to post about that anymore!

I think you were the bigger person for not breaking that drunk's nose.

I would never complain to an admin about a post because I, just like everyone else, can simply click on the "back" button if I'm reading something I don't agree with.

Ha! I knew I'd call out the perp. Chris, I know you think I'm a jerk, but Billy still retains the crown! emoLaugh emoLaugh

Nah - see, ya'll get it. You either read it and sympathized with my issues and desire to defend myself and my wife, you read it and thought I deserved what I got for being covered in Crimson in a sea of orange, or you just flat-out didn't give a crap and went on to another post without feeling like you had to tattle. Any of the three are adult rationales.

Love you too flipper...

Far from it, blazer! I've been to over a dozen games at UT ... just so happens this was my first real good run-in with a FEW horribly rude fans. We had some great Vols sitting around us (at least for the first three quarters ;) ) and we had fun with countless others before and after.

I appreciate passionate SEC fans ... regardless of their school. There's nothing better, actually.

Dang Alabama Fans!!!!!!! emoPoke :)

Why would anyone take offense to the post? We all have those fans we like to hide away. I've been cussed at before wearing my orange, and I've seen some who follow my beloved Vols act like they never even met their momma, much less raised by her.

RR congrats, your team is playing GREAT football this year, and I would like to apologize on behalf of the orange nation for the way you were treated in our home. I do hope that you come back, but you have to promise not to sing rammer jammer yellow hammer! :)

Wow Rob. I thought the post was fine, don't back down from some pansies that have to complain about something as small in life as that post. You were merely recounting your experience at the game. Just as you would with "Spiderman" and Rachel out for a day of fishing... Knowing you, I'm surprised you didn't take a poke at the guy, but you are a mature adult in most cases anyway.... No worries. I think we all know that this happens at all schools in some small fashion. I've seen it at NFL games for years. Wear your colors. Be prepared for some jerks. Handle it with grace and mercy. You done good from my point of view.
