Re: Iaconelli: "They're not trun fans of our sport."

if you read it closely he isn't talking about the locals he is talking about a pack of aholes that are traveling long distances to purposely ruin their fishing and try and "beat" the pros at their own spot

Re: Iaconelli: "They're not trun fans of our sport."

I agree wholeheartedly with a lot that has been said! I like to refer to it as the bent rod pattern.
I have been fishing areas just to have Aholes literary throw in front of and behind my boat, and like Roy Mercer says, Well By God! Nobody is going to run me off.
People in general lack common courtesy and respect!

I'm kind of let down that I spelled the word "true" wrong. emoBang

Re: Iaconelli: "They're not trun fans of our sport."

I try not to fish near any boats, regardless of who they are. Unless of course it's my friends then I try to make as much noise as possible. I was on chickamauga once and a boat was driving by about half throttle. My buddy using a swimbait sets the hook and the rod doubled over. Boat that was going half throttle stopped and dropped the trolling motor and started casting. Turns out the fish was a big drum!!! Couldn't believe that's how someone would go about fishing but oh well hopefully the joke was on them and they dropped in on a school of drum.

I was out last week on nickajack and had 2 marker bouys out to mark a ledge. This guy came off plane and watched then passed by me. Then he came around behind me and fished the bank.

Just for the record a lot of pros get their waypoints from locals nothing is much a secret anymore...it's sad that there is more idiots than fishing holes. A lot of people these days like catching more than fishing!
