Ted Barta.... now there's a guy... Richard, you are so right and that's a great way to put it. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure I've never heard ANYONE talk so much about HOW GREAT they are than Ted Barta. But he can flat catch fish too. Too funny.....

The Federation left B.A.S.S. because the regional reps of the Federation were fired for refusing, on behalf of Federation members, to pay an increase in the yearly dues (supposedly for insurance) demanded by B.A.S.S. A revolt against B.A.S.S. resulted in the Federation leaving en masse because of those firings. Forrest Lee Wood invited the members to be associated with FLW a few months later. It had nothing to do with Ike.

Fishing in urban environments is a great show idea but featuring Ike is a bad one. I have not learned anything from him, and I cant say I like how he handles his fish! Those poor fish get squeezed and beat up, not mention yelled at...I do laugh when he pitches a fit over a 12" smallmouth that wouldn't even keep on our lake!
