It's a common complaint among bass anglers who claim they often see people keeping under-sized fish. One of those complaints turned into an arrest in Marion County recently.

Unbelievable. Especially when you take into account how many successful spawns each one of these fish would have had left. That's the equivalent to millions of potential fish that will not be in our lake because if this one incident.

I hope that this stops them from doing this again, but who knows? Maybe they will just be more careful not to get caught. They need jail time along with a hefty fine and suspending their licenses if they even have them. People who tend to break the law probably don't get their licenses either. emoGeezer

Glad they were caught They are probably illegal immigrants and will be back doing the same thing shortly

Muskrat - 7/20/2015 7:06 PM That's awful. No telling how many illegal bass these guys kept in the past before they got caught. emoMad
