Hey guys, I am in the market to add another baitcaster reel to my arsenal. At the moment I have a few bps, abu garcias, and shimanos. I am leaning towards the BPS Johnny Morris signature series because I love my pro qualifiers and the quality that BPS seems to bring. I really like the fact that the JM's have the duraluminum gears. However, I am open to suggestions. I want to stay in the $100-180ish range. I will also be pairing this with a duckett ghost rod. Thanks and I look forward to hearing y'alls input.

I've never had experience with the Lews. I will definitely check them out. Can you recommend a model?

Ya I don't think u can go wrong with the lews Iv been fishing revos forever an with all the talk bout lews had to try it out an it's blows all my Revos outa the water gonna switch all mine to lews

@bassncorey-trust me I have been very tempted.

Corey- You have struck my interest even further because I do love a revo

The bb1 is nice and it's the right price. I like the regular speed spools and you can get them for right around 100$.

Are you left handed by chance ? I have an Ardent Apex Elite for sale . They sent me a left handed reel and I ordered a righty . Brand new in the box . Awesome reel ! Light as a feather and strong . Casts better than any other reel I own . They retail for 149.00

Eirwin imo I like them better then revos I belive they cast further an they are way smoother I have the bb1 pro they may be one better then both brands but I can't speak for those I have only used lews an revos

Gonna jump on the bandwagon here haha definitely get a lews. Doesn't matter what price point you are looking at they got great reels for the price thats all I use wiht the exception of 1 Revo SX I got for free a few years back

I am hearing a lot of lews. I don't think I know anyone with one, but it seems to be popular on the forums. I will definite do some research and see what the hype is all about. Thanks guys.

Until this year I would only buy shimano curado, I bought a lews speed spool at the first of the year and it is by far the best real I've ever used, from now on I'll only buy the lews speed spool

Once you go Lew's you'll never go back! The Tournament MG series are killer reels for the money. I have 7 TS1HMG models and would buy another 7 now if I had the money.

where can you find a BB1 for $100. Was just looking at tackle warehouse and they were $199
