Started the day around 800 AM and dropped a shiner in and before I could get my smoke lit I had a chunk spot on.. Caught 3 fish on my first 3 casts before 830 AM... 2 smallies and 1 spot. About 930 the water quit moving and it got pretty slow.. So left the area around the railroad bridge and headed downtown.. Threw a rattletrap around some points and rip rap with no luck until my arm got yanked to bad it was a drum and not a bass. Was a good fight he probably went 15 lbs.. About 300 got a call from a friend who was fishing on the bank so went and picked him and his buddy up and we fished around the railroad bridge and the access road bank.. We hooked into 6 more smallies two good chunks and a big nasty blue cat.. 5 of the 6 smallies were caught between 515 and 545 including one double(this picture didnt get saved grrr) All smallies were caught on shiners. Jacks had some really small shiners today kinda sucked I think with some bigger biat we would have hooked some nicer fish.. All in all was a good day at the Riverpark.

Total boated for the day 8 smallmouth 1 spot 1 drum and 1 bluecat

Water temp was 49 and most fish were caught when there was current in 12-16 ft of water. The current turned back on around 430
