Prayers going up

Jerry called me yesterday afternoon and told me that I had to find a new fishing partner?! According to Jerry, his lung doctor told him he had a mesothelioma cancer {asbestos} and that there was very little that could be done. He was told to get his affairs in order that he could have only months left. Pray for Moses and his family please.

That is so sad. We need to really lift Jerry and his family up to the Lord. Nothing is too hard for God if it is His will. This is very, very serious business. My uncle had the same thing, thankfully he got his "affairs" in order - mainly the most important thing - he made sure he had accepted Jesus as Lord. Not at all saying Jerry is done for, just saying that something at some point for all of us is going to take us all out of this life and usher us into the next. Jerry is a great guy and certainly one of the best "story tellers" the CFF has. He is unselfish with his help about lures and even places to catch fish. We need to rally around Jerry and not only pray but be available to help him out in any way. I'm ready willing and able. If anyone knows of a need that Jerry or his wife has or some ideas how we can be a blessing to them please post it. We (The CFF ) can make a difference.
