I've been offered a backseat this Saturday and this very gracious person is wanting to try jigging spoons.
While I've heard their praise on here a few times, I've mostly been a bank fisherman so there are 0 spoons in my tackle box. I've never tried one. So.. this leads me to some questions as I am very interested in trying this technique.
First and foremost, is this something I can pick up at Wallyworld? Is there a better place to go to get them?
From what I've read in some e-zines, it seems the 3/4 size is the best for the current water temps. Agree or disagree?
Due to the stained water of Chick, should I be looking for painted spoons or metallic? If colors, what colors?
Thanks in advance for any answers.
