Since it was a nice day yesterday, I decided to fish below the Chick Dam for a couple of hours. I first hit the docks at Riverpark in search for some shad. Very hard to find. emoScratch I did see Craig (CFF foodsaver) at the ramp. I hope he caught some big ones. I ended up with only 3 shad while cast netting for about 30 minutes. Tons of little gills but hardly any shad. 
I went below the dam and fished right against the wall and could not produce anything but one 24 inch channel cat. It was a very slow day. It must be the transition period from late winter to early spring. I sure hope it picks back up later this week.
