just got my first bass boat

due to the 2nd divorce i just went thru I couldn't afford a new boat so I bought a used one from a friend that was needing some money for medical reasons. I got an 88 Stratos 181 PRO with a fresh rebuilt 150 Mercury Black Max. I hope to be able to get it on the water for next tx. I need carpet and seats recovered, or replacement seats and trolling motor. Going to be doing some cleanup and testing all the electronics and pumps, bilge and live well equipment. The XR4 is a good strong engine. It is actually under rated. Just PRAY that the stator or rectifier does not go out if it is the original system. I have converted a few of them due to the cost of parts. Nice rig!

Congrats on the boat. Let me know if you need any advice or help finding anything. I know a local place to get the good MARINE carpet and glue from. Stay away from the outdoor stuff at the hardware stores.

Sell that old Chevy truck sitting back there and you could probably get that trolling motor from old man 101 and all the other work you want done.
