Nice rig. I ran an 2002 TR-20/225 Opti for 5 years until trading for another last year. It is a great fishing boat. Ref. your issues regarding the speedo, the intake hole on the front edge of your L/U is probably plugged. You MAY be able to unplug it with a small drill bit, but it WILL quickly get plugged again. Most of us don't fool with it. If you're worried about a speed number, adding a GPS is your best option. The tach and trim guages are your friends. FWIW, you should see low/mid 70's at ~5800 RPM's. The fuel guage could be a fuse as mentioned above or may be a problem with the guage or the sending unit in the tank. The boat will chine walk. It is NOT like the Ranger you're used to. Take your time learning to deal with "the walk" and ENJOY!
