Ken Griffey Jr to the Braves

Listen Minner... first, my grandpa worked at Ford in Chicago for 24 years, and as unfortunate for a east tennessee boy to have to suffer up there he did for the well being of his family. My mom was born in Park Forrest a suberb of Chicago, which lends to my Cub fandom, she was a huge Cubs fan... Ryne Sandberg was what a real baseball player WAS, before all the roids...

I like Atlanta, and always have, Charlie Liebrant was always a favorite, and Dale Murphey should be in the hall of fame. I still have dreams of Fransico Caberra drilling it up the middle and the slowest white boy in history, Sid Bream sliding into home. Chill bumps... or I used to have 'em until another obnoxious Braves fan like you ruins it for me. So go join Lurker, Chad, Cap'n and all the other hatchet heads, and gather round your Bobby Cox shrine and prepare for 10 years of futility.

Last time I checked your family was half Illinois yankee too you jerk.

...It's true.. I am 1/2 yankee, there, I said it. YOU HAPPY NOW? (minner now walking away, head bowed, scuffing feet, and kicking rocks)

I'm from Illinois and I still don't like the Cubs or baseball for that matter. Used to like it when I was a kid, but then I moved down here and discovered SEC football and now really have no love for baseball at all.

Bprice - 2/18/2009 11:56 AM The cool thing is Chris, nobody really cares what you think.

For no other reason you are my friend and I am an umpire...... which things are going to get started real soon on the high school level.... guys, be sweet..........FAemoGrouphug

You know I love a Al, but baseball has grown very boring and tiresome to me. Now if only those guys would take some steroids, then it could be fun again!! ;)

It seems that since Mr. Turner took his money and ran, all the Braves are trying to do is put some butts in the seats... Not win ballgames... But I will be there to see JR. jack one against those Yanks in June... and maybe he could rob one from A-ROID...

I think antman is right .They are just trying to get people to come see a hall of famer. He will hit 25 homers and be ok.GRIFFEY STILL HAS THE SWEETEST LOOKING SWING IN BASEBALL!

That's what I thought! He's going back to Seattle to end his run, DH some probablly and ride into the HOF as a Mariner where he started! Makes sense! I also heard the announcement this morning to confirm.

Chipper may be old but I say we hang on to him until he quits producing. He may slow down but he always turns on late in the season and he has been a rock in that clubhouse for years! I'm excited about Junior, I hope he stays healthy! I do enjoy watching the Bravos play!

Chipper is about the only one that hasn't sold out.

griffey is a has been, seatle is the best place for him. the braves have plenty of young players that can produce more than griffey and stay healthy for a whole season.
