Both mornings we put in at the crack of dawn. Sat. and Sun. we fished for about 2/3's of the day. Water temps both days started off at 67* and ended up right at 70*. We used BG Baby Shad in alot of different colors. One color still stood out better than the others. It had some Blue on it.

On Sat. we caught 70 Crappie with 21 keepers. Nice dark black slabs. On Sun. we caught 40 Crappie with 12 keepers. Nice black slabs.

I tried to figure out why we only caught half as many on Sun. as we did on Sat?? The water was up about a foot more. The weather man this am said a low front came in the day before and will be here for the next several days. The low front will be bringing in some colder air temps. Anyone have any ideas on the slower bite? We fished the same way and type placesboth days.

On Sat. I caught a 12-3/4" TARP Yellow Perch. She was about to bust with eggs. Put her back in the water to continue with her duties.

On Sun. Grayson caught a TARP 11-1/2" male Yellow Perch. He will be released to the skillet and grease.emoHungry
