It has been a long time since I posted a report. By God's good Grace I am able to once again pursue some serious winter fish chasing.
My basic approach has been to find and follow the gulls and baitfish. When I am marking fish I stop and try them out.
I have fished only in Dallas Bay, Harrison Bay, and Waconda Bay. Haven't gone up river at all yet. Probably should.
Using A-rig, swim baits, jerk baits, jigging spoons, and bucktails. Most fish were caught in 20' to 25' of water usually in creek channels and flats adjacent to the creeks. Suspending fish were usually caught on A-rig and deeper fish on bucktails, swim baits, and spoons. Have to Slowww down your lure in cold water.
I will post a few pics, and thanks to all the members who have shared their knowledge with me
Regards, Norman emoBang will try to post pics later need to resize.
