Labman in ICU at Erlanger ** Updated 10-20-12**

<p class="MsoNormal">Labman, (Norman) just called me and he had a Cerebral hemorrhage and is now in ICU at Erlanger. He has lost some function on his left side, but overall motor skills are doing good. His speech was good, just sounded VERY tired on the phone. I’m not 100% sure of when it happened, I believe on Sunday from what I could gather. They are going to do some more tests including an MRI tomorrow to try and determine the cause. </p><p class="MsoNormal">I’m sure he would appreciate hearing from some of his buddies on CFF, please PM me for his number if you would like it.</p>

That's terrible. I know he is in good hands there but that is sad to hear. Hoping and praying for a speedy recovery.

My friend and fishing buddy Norman also called me this am. He came down with a terrible headache last night and he and his wife Judie sensed big trouble and called an ambulance to take him to Erlanger. A neurosurgeon was available and operated through his skull to remove the blood that pressured his brain and to cauterize the leaking blood vessel. He will undergo further testing to prevent future events like this.

Norman sounded amazingly strong and lucid in our conversation. He still talked about the big smallmouth he lost a few days ago....He did say there was some reduced feeling on his left side.

Please keep Norman and Judie in your prayers.

I talked to Norman on the phone as well earlier today. He sounded good, but will remain in ICU for a while yet. Tests to come. Get well, soon, Norman and we will get after some crappie or bass. emoGeezer
