For some reason I attached this report to a previous post. Think it got lost in the shuffle so will post new report here.
Hit the river early looking for a striper bite. Fished hard for a couple of hours with only a couple of 2.5# LM and a couple of whites. Finally around 9:30 had a hard hit on TN rig with swimbaits. Made a strong run, but could handle it ok with only 9000 flow. Nice little striper 13# 3oz. Then had a couple of SM that were about 16-17 inches and then some more whites including a double. Last but not least another strong hit went bad in a hurry when I saw a blue cat tearing up my bait when it surfaced and started spinning. It was 16#.
Water temp was high 60's and very moderate flow. All fish caught on TN rig with swimbaits. Reel in just fast enough to avoid all the snags. Pulled out about 10:30.
