Largemouth bass spawning nests

No offense taken here, I call them both. I too grew up around the lake and always heard them called bedding bass with an occassional nest in there. When you think about it though, nest makes more sense because those bass are definately not sleeping....
 
Whew...Glad we all settled that. I was starting to wonder how many got up on the wrong side of the nest!</p>

will a bream or shellcracker take over a nest that was used by a bass. Seen one at parksville this morning that had a bream on it but the bed looked real big for just a bream.
 
Yes bream and the like will take over a old bass bed/nest and make one of their own in it.
