And I didnt see coleman on the list. that would have been my pic.A man that catches a 20 pound sack ever time they go out this would be ez money.wonder why he ant fishing?cuz I know he would give them boys a run for their money. :)

The last CBA Coleman only had 14.15 lbs. and Kite only had 14.00 lbs. They were not any better then that a month ago on the day tournament of the CBA in August. Those guys are good but folks seem to remember the 20 lb sacks a lot better then the lighter ones. Their bite looks to be a little off right now and a $2000.00 entry is a little hard to swallow if you are unsure. emoRolleyes Jmax

Tungsten - 9/14/2010 9:40 AM What is a real shame is there are probably around 200 people , give or take a few, in town all week, buying gas, buying food in local restaurants, sleeping in local hotels, buying tackle, not to mention media folks, and support bring in big $$$ to Chattanooga, and yet , there is very little mention of it. A big $$ event happening right here!! Girls fastpitch softball, gets more attention. Makes me sick to my stomach. emoVomit emoVomit emoVomit

Correct you are, Spoke with a fellow from the paper Friday as he was interviewing David Dudley. I asked him why he never covered any of the local events like the CBA...He didnt have a good answer. When I was a kid I used to live for the Sunday morning fishing reports. I haven't seen one in years. This area is an outdoors "Mecca" and our local media would rather cover softball and golf. I'd love to know how many $$$ the local bass txs generate for the local economy.

Another local, Greg Lamb is in on the pro side andthe legend Red Tanner is in as a co-angler. Looks like a total of 106 boats. Rogne drew boat #103 for the first day, hope he is on a good late bite.

My pick to make the top 5 and fish Saturday is 'the General' Larry Nixon but I hope all the local guys do well too.
