Look who showed up to fish with Kevin at Parksville today.

We all know Kevin is the man on Parksville Lake and today this guy came down to the water's edge to fish with him.

I had a feeling it might be one of these guys! He is pretty big and broad in the shoulders! I have never got to see one up there while fishing. I used to run in to them every once in a while riding my mountain bike on the trails. They tend to like our man made trails. Thanks for posting Jim

They've about taken over on that side,,,seen a couple yrs ago up there while fishing but several while hunting

I saw one there about three years ago. THAT one is a beast, holy cow

Yes, it's been a couple years since we've seen one. Thought it was smaller when Kevin first spotted it. It was hunched over digging in the ground. When we got close it was obviously full grown. Clapped my hand real loud after I took photos and it turned and ran away.

I worked in the back of sylco all summer. I would see at least 3 a week. A lot of cubs this year.
