Lower Pickwick...Huntin' Blue Hawgs

Never been on on lower Pick. Going tomorrow with maps and lots of gas...looking for big (huge!) cat hangouts.

Would anybody care to suggest a particular spot or area that should hold some gret 'ol bigguns??? emoCool

Try running the boils, Judy and I have had good luck there fishing like that. Down river around Shiloh there are some deep holes that usually hold some good size blues also. We will be going to Pickwick in September to camp and fish with a bunch of catfishing friends.

Fish the dam, I'm not a catfish expert, but I've seen people catch many many cats there, and this time of the year is usually good for the striper fishing at Pickwick dam.

Thanks, y'all. I spent some time around Yellow Creek. They grow hawgs down there, too.
