mcp ramp hot topic

There is one for sure. It was originally set for MCP on the 6th but was moved to SM a few weeks ago to avoid the traffic.

There could also be other tournaments at SM we don't know about. This past Saturday USA Bassin and Coffee County Bass Club launched there. The parking lot was full.

With more and more tournaments every year it's gonna be next to impossible to find a ramp that's not loaded. We're gonna get in line, wait our turn, back er on down, launch, park the truck somewhere, assemble, blast-off, and go have a great day fishing ! emoAngler

Picking a ramp for a tx is probably like trying to eat at a chain restaurant downtown on a Friday night... guaranteed wait time but well worth the wait... can't say this from experience as far as choosing a ramp but it seems to be a good analogy.

Well the big thing I worry about for NBT is that we have kids in all of our events. I try to make everything as smooth as possible. Also try to watch out for other tourneys because some adult groups have an adult atmosphere and adult language. Most all see the kids and adjust the conversation, but there are those out there that don't care at all what they say or talk about in front of kids. And not every kid has been subjected to Army reunions since they were born like mine. Some kids don't know some of them "fancy" words and their parents would like to keep it that way.

All though I have never used it...but there is two ramps at MCP...one just to the left as you come in and the one at the parking lot...has anyone used that ramp on the left?

Best thing I've read in a while!

I don't fish a ton on the Nick, a few times a year, but all i have read on here the past few days are complaints. Maybe we should stop complaining at each other and call and find out about the city building a "NICE" ramp and charge a nomilnal fee until paid for! Just a thought, tired of reading all the negative talk!

I was just wondering if somebody was going to post a number to call and schedule a time when we could get in and fish one of our spots due to high volume of boats

I'm not fishing the tx but there are two ramps over by the cave, there is one next to the cave and one next to the white church , then you just go under the railroad bridge to the main lake.
