Flags on the trolling motors ? Now that's a real touchy topic. We are using orange ribbon, 3/4" X 3'. It's polyester and holds up great in the rain. I sure hope no one launching out of that emoBadLanguage MCP ramp is using orange. As I was leavingWally World with the 78 rolls they had in stock, they promised me they would not have anymore in by this Saturday.</p>

We may need a new thread started just for this.</p>

Henegar - 3/1/2010 6:40 PM I'm not fishing the tx but there are two ramps over by the cave, there is one next to the cave and one next to the white church , then you just go under the railroad bridge to the main lake.

The one by the Cave is locked and will probably not open till April or May. The other, Coal City Ramp, is extremely small and doesn't have too good of a reputation. I wouldn't leave my truck/trailer there.</p>

Hales Bar is closed, I believe and has been for a long time. The Anchor Inn ramp can't handle the Bass boats.

I agree with beetlespin on sullivans and its between the dams. We cant lock through so why not put us in the middle of the lake. The misses will be fishing with me so it will be like I'm launching myself. I've launched her before but she gets to nervous when there is a large crowd. I dont wanna sound like a cry baby, it just seems like common sense to me and a lot less headaches.
