I wish you guys would hurry up and quit waiting ... lol .... I'm going to have to get mine over to him soon. Everyone is right... James knows his stuff and I don't think I've ever met a more honest mechanic that enjoys what's he's doing and showing you the problems in 'real time' instead of hearsay. He taught me and my son more, on the day we went to his shop, than I could have learned in a long time. When he works on stuff, he wants you there to see with your own eyes what he's seeing and has a 'trophy case' of parts from past rebuilds to show you what causes any issues you see. I really did enjoy the time he spent to explain what he was doing, why, and what the expected results were, and what the end results are.... he IS the man! when it comes to marine engine repair... but,... shhhh!.. don't tell too many folks until he gets mine rebuilt... after the one's he's working on. And, if you talk to him nice... he could possibly add some features to give you a performance increase if you need it.. but, who would want that .. lol
