That picture of the cougar and the mule deer is a fake picture. Everything in it is real but it was taken out west and the picture shown here is actually two pictures that have been put together to make it look like the cougar was stalking a deer.

One of the guys I work with just brought in a mountain lion that he had mounted. He killed it this past winter while coon huntin' and one of the other guys we work with mounted it for him... I don't know about SE TN, but they are in NE TN without a doubt..... I've only seen one in the wild, but I've heard many more and most our avid coon hunters have treed them...
