Thanks everyone! I am such a bassaholic after that fight! I entered my first tourney after this catch and had 5 big bites (I actually saw the bass) and missed them all since I was too scared to set the hook hard and perhaps miss and hit my boater (or myself) since I took a hit with a 1.5 ounce jig to the face recently. Still trying again in the BFL's :)

If you ever need a good boater I'm sure Spurhunter's avaliable!

Are you doing the FLW or just visiting?

Just visiting. We've got a house rented for a week right smack in the middle of the big "O" and Crecsent lake. A full week of fishing Florida's best lakes, can't wait.

Now that makes it all worth While right there! Mel thanks for the pic. look forward to seeing more. Booyah emoWorthy

Thanks everyone! I plan on catching a bunch just like it next weekend in the BFL. The lake is awesome right now, been going to the FLW Open this week and they are bringing in some large bags 'o bass!

Haha, what does it take to catch on of those?

Awesome fish by the way! I was just in Orlando, wish I had made the trip south.

the Medlock Double Guard Jig, it's hand made by Joe Medlock in Lake Placid Florida. I learned to bass fish flipping with it so this is all I use and it is AWESOME!

You should of come, the Lake has some of the biggest bass I have seen!
