Thanks for all the nice comments, guys, I enjoy posting on the CFF and I enjoy the comments!

The comments got me curious as to the conditions when I caught my PB smallie (5 lb. 10 oz.). You can look up my 3/16/10 report. I caught it on a heavy spinner bait with a flow of 42K cfs and a water temp of 47 (surprisingly low).

Labman, re your comment, Pete Jr. has the better instincts about lure choice, presentation and strike recognition and reaction. A good example was this fishing trip. He chose a 1 oz. jig/pig for the conditions (strong current), while I used something about half that weight and didn't get down to the bottom. Looking forward to you and me getting on the river soon!

Re your signature, Norman, very sorry you and Judie lost "INCA", I know she meant a lot to y'all.
