Hello everyone..... I have been fishing for a while but never had my own boat until this past weekend. I just received a boat with a little 15hp and was wondering where would be a good place to take the kids for some panfishing. I live about 10mins from harrison bay. If anyone has any places to go please let me know. Heading out this weekend!!! I'm still practcing getting the boat on and off the trailer so no laughing at the guy who looks like he doesn't know what he's doing at the launch this weekend!

Hope to find some great info here.

Welcome aboard, you can learn alot and have fun on CFF. Don't worry about your loading and backing of the trailer--we all ha to learn at some point......If your having problems at the ramp, just ask a fisherman for advise. Fisherman are always willing to help another fisherman.

Welcome! I agree with out4fun, most fishermen will be glad to give advice or a hand, just ask. You would be surprised how well you can do around Harrison Bay ramp or Wolftever Creek. Just look for trees laying in the water and you should find some panfish. That way kinda being new with a boat and with the kiddos you can stay close to the ramp and get used too everything. Hope ya'll catch a bunch and most of all have fun.
