Mallard, Louie said step out on the ice and he'll show you a few tricks.... like how to hit the boards!!!! Also what checking means.... and it ain't at the bank either. Welcome to CFF and Chattanooga Exodus. I too just moved here last year on Memorial Day weekend from Minneapolis. This is a great place to be! Fishing is awesome and the people are too. Not like NY at all! But I hear you cluckin' big chicken. PM Me and I'll gladly show you some shore spots that are very close to where you are. I live off of 153 and Amnicola Hwy. There are so many places to fish, you'll start walking in circles. Everyone here is really great and a super resource to new residents for pretty much anything and everything. Except BBass... emoWelcome

First of all, i'd like to thank each and everyone of you that responded. I'm proud to be a part of this great community. I'd love to make fishing friends so please hit me up! I'm down for anything. I fish daily and will report daily.

Also to answer the question what part of MI i'm from, that would be the teeny tiny dirt road town of St. Johns :) it's about 20mins north of the capital Lansing, MI.

Thanks again everyone and I look forward to seeing you all out on the water tearin' em up!

My girlfriend has family in St Johns, and Ithaca. im actually heading up that way in a few weeks, and am planning on fishing too! glad to have you down here. as far as the fishing going around the dam is pretty good. i've had better luck on the north shore tho.
