Nickajack Aquatic Plant Stakeholder Group

Nickajack Anglers, there will be a meeting of the Nickajack Aquatic Plant Stakeholder Group this evening at 6 PM Central Time in Jasper inside the Juvenile Courtroom. Plans and recommendations for 2008 will be discussed. I attended the last meeting and these are very informative. County Mayor Howell Moss leads the discussion with folks from TWRA, TDEC, TVA and several landowners and fishermen. I am sure there will be a discussion regarding the application of Copper Based Herbicide. Looks as if I will not be able to attend tonight, but anyone that fishes Nickajack would find this an interesting meeting to attend and it would be nice to have a few more anglers present.
