No Direct Vote on Healthcare

Regardless of your party affiliation, this stinks. To think that either party would bypass a direct vote so they can say they did or did not vote for a piece of legislation is garbage. If the democrats do it...shame on you. If the republicans do it...shame on you. This is no doubt political debachery at its finest.



Republicans have lost an effort to force House Democrats to hold a direct vote on the health overhaul bill.
Democrats want to use a special procedure that would let the House automatically approve the $940 billion measure when lawmakers vote to begin debating a separate proposal that would revise that big health bill.

Democratic leaders hope this maneuver would ease the political pain for lawmakers hesitant about voting directly on the giant health legislation—which the Senate has approved.

Republicans tried to block that move, but Democrats in the House prevailed by a 222-203 vote on Thursday.

The House is set to debate the health bill on Sunday.

The demonrats found out that several of the pro life democrats were against the hc bill because there is a provision for taxpayer funded abortions. That is why the back door approach is going down. I say vote out every last one of them so we make sure to send the message that this country is tired of these crooks pulling this kind of crap.

Looks like Rep Stupac just made a "DEAL" to vote YES on universal healthcare and he is going to take at least 5 others with him, maybe more. Bribes and threats from Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Soros and the big unions have probebly manipulated enough votes!

My two other younger brothers came by yesterday and have been democrats for as long as I can remember. We argured politics constantly. They sat down on my back porch and told me because of the way that this bill has been shoved down every ones throat by the democrats that neither one of them will ever vote democrate again.
I say come november vote green all the way across.
