As I posted in another thread I recently got a new to me Javelin so I'm trying to get familiar with it. The motor is a 2001 Johnson 150. The oil injection has been removed and gas and oil are mixed. When you crank it the buzzer goes off and it lights up low oil, no oil and both the buzzer and the light go off after about 15 sec. Is their a way to disconnect the alarm without disconnecting the check eng and overheat warning. Or should I just leave it like it is? Thanks

Well that would normally be a sensor that either occurs because a connection is broken or a conncetion is made by the movement of the dipstick. Maybe try finding the wires that went to the oil tank. Either complete the connection or seperate it?
