NO WAKE ZONE AT BLUEWATER - RICHLAND CREEK

NEW INFO FROM TWRA - recieved an email from Matt Majors and he informed me that the no wake zone covers the entire creek from the dock to the bank. With the water level high you can run the outside and some people do but according to the email you will be running thru the no wake zone and that is illegal. It is a bad spot but the new owner of bluewater pushed for it and its there so we will have to deal with it. So if you go in richland creek be sure to slow down or you might get a ticket. This makes it tougher on myself and the other 2 officers of the bass club because we have to push people faster to get in the water for blast off but so far its been accepted ok by most. I would hate to dq someone for running thru it but I will if I have to because it is the law.

All marinas have a no wake zone of 300 feet marked or not.

I dont think they should be able to zone the whole creek channel for a marina. MY 2 CENTS
