Ericm is right! The "fishing report" section should be limited to reports that give the readers something they may be able to use to catch fish Like-What lake were you fishing--What species did you catch--What type of water were you fishing (points,docks, drop offs)--Shallow or deep water--Bait or lures you used--Where on the lake did you catch'em. I don't want to stir up a nest either, but I'm getting tired of just seeing a pic of a 1.5 lb bass that someone caught, or a cooler full of crappie, or how you and your buddy did in the dogfight with no useful info included posted on the "fishing report" forum. Those posts should be put on a "bragging board" forum.....Hey we need one of those on CFF and maybe guys could post pics there. Ericm most likely gets to fish more than most of us, and I look forward to reading his reports. In fact I may put down the crappie rods and get back on some cats.

just kidding. like some of the guys said above, i really didn't know any better as to the forums and whatnot. and as far as the HOF, it did feel a bit weird posting older catches amongst the current/weekly trophies. (THANKS ALOT BRANDON!) just kiddin

Well Eric... my first thought was that if this is the biggest hornet's nest you can find to poke, you're unlikely to ever get stung. But it looks like you have poked at least one or two nerves. emoBigsmile
BTW, I'm complete neutral on the entire thread. It used to be very easy to read every single fishing report and thread. However I gave up on that a LONG time ago. No matter how many categories we create, sadly I must pick and choose the threads I check in on these days. And for the record, I think that is a GOOD problem to have! emoThumbsup

Josh you didn't ruffle any feathers, as a matter of fact you got some good dialog going about a possible improvement to the site. From the looks of those pics you are a heck of a fisherman and will be an asset to CFF for a long time.
