Help Support Chattanooga Fishing Forum:

Thanks for bringing this topic up CherokeeRidge! It's great to have another new CFFer and someone with a voice that carries will be fun. I'll plan to check your show out. Is it mostly a hunting show this time of the year or is much of the talk about local fishing? tso, do you get out on the water much? I know a bunch of guys/gals that would be happy to take you. Let us know if you are interested.

I do get out quite a bit. My son "forces" me out as much as possible. I usually go out of Chester Frost or Soddy and generally go up stream.

As far as the show is concerned, we have been all over the board the past month or so. Richard Simms was on in the middle of September and we talked fishing and duck hunting. I did a show on Bow hunting the first of October. Had Clint Smith, the Wildlife Manager from Prentice Cooper on two weeks ago.

I am headed to SD to do some pheasant hunting next week, so I imagine that will be a topic and while I am there Cameron Mitchell from Ducks Unlimited will be hosting. So yeah, right now hunting is pretty hot. But what I have found, most hunters are fisherman and most fisherman will hunt also. So the show has really taken off.

We have also spent a lot of time talking about water and grass management on the area lakes.

Just to let you know how I lean, my first guest was Brent Brady and we spent the show talking Bass Fishing. I am working on getting some tournament fisherman on as guest during their "down" time. So we will see how that goes..

I can promise you, I will go fishing every chance I can. When it gets real hot, I like to fish in the evening. I really like winter fishing as well. So when hunting season slows down, I will be headed back to the water.

If you ever have a topic you want to discuss. Please call in.

Just so you will know, two CFF guys will be on the air in the morning with me. So we will be talking fishing during hunting season.

Sorry I missed the post. I have to get up at 4:00AM to make the show so I was asleep by that point.

The guests were cutthroat and rodscar.

They did a great job. I may hire them as regulars.

Shoot, I missed the show. I meant to get up and listen but I had to stay up late last night. I'll get it done one of these Saturdays.

Wow, that's a neat show and it's great to be able to listen to the show after the fact. I am listening to it right now. Thanks Tony for plugging CFF. There are so many great fishermen in the area and we love to share info and the more people we have here on the forum the more we all learn about the fishing around here. Thanks again for giving us some air time.
