Phoenix Boats

I owned a Bumblebee 2100 for @ six years. It was a great boat. Fit and finish was as good as any, it handled rough water better than most with a great ride. From what I've seen and read, the Bee Line is basically the same. Most everyone that has seen, tried out or bought the new Phoenix are very impressed with them. You can see pictures and get a lot of info on the Bass Boat Central web site.

Except for the graphics I think the boat is laid out great.I like the big indash depthfinder up front ,the tool holder by the console, the net holder in the floor and I also like the co-angler rod locker. As far as being an entry level boat I dont think that is true just because of it being a new company .You can see the quality craftmanship under the console. Its all fiberglassed in and there is no boat on the market that has that. I think that they really thought everything out even to the rope cleet on the drivers side so when you want to lock through.I do agree with Paul Nichols you can tell they are using alot of graphics and materials from Stratos suppliers. It looks like a Stratos more than anything.I would like to see some performance speeds with different motors.I do agree with Beetlespin on one thing you will have a hard resale until they make a name for themselves.

Boat prices were way too high before oil prices skyrocketed. Boats, just like cars and houses were/are way overpriced. If dealers want to sell boats, they will have to lower the prices just as car makers are having to do. As far as the Phoenix line of boats. Buy what you like. I can own, fish out of, and drive any boat I choose. I just happen to like Ranger boats. The fellow who has the Phoenix boat..... I am very happy you love and enjoy your boat. They make different brands of boats for the same reason they make different brands of cars. Variety.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Get you a 17' Carolina Skiff with a 48 hp Johnson and go fishing and be happy.
