Pick the Alabama/Florida winner and why

Just for fun today. Let's pick the Tide/Gator winner in the SEC championship game and reasons for our picks.

Tide 24 - Gators 21

Why? Alabama is the more physical team.
Percy Harvin has an ankle sprain. This has to hamper his ability.
Turnovers. I believe that the Tide will get to Tebow and force bad throws.
Alabama's pass defense is second to none.
Tide will take care of the ball and win the turnover battle.
Although Florida is fast, Alabama isn't a turtle either. They can run too.
Saban wins the coaching battle.
Alabama #1, yet an underdog. This will be motivation for the Tide.
The only close game that the Gators had this year, they lost at home.

I have a couple more reasons, but I'll leave those to others.

I think the Gators will win handily although I'm rooting for the tide.

Reasons: I just think Florida is a better team.

definitely pulling for the Tide, but I say UF by 10+. If Bama can stop the big play and establish their run game, then I see it as being a last-drive kind of game. BUT, I think UF is just too strong on both sides of the ball, and the definitely hold the special teams advantage. Im hoping for an upset!

I think it will be Fla 30- Ala 17. I think defensively these teams are pretty even, but offensively the Gators have the edge. I think that Fla can score around 30 pts on the Bama D, but I don't think Bama can score 30 on the Gator D. John (Sarah Jessica) Parker Wilson just don't have the skills to lead his team to the win, the the Bama run game, as good as it may be, can't run the ball down the Gators throat.

It makes me want to swallow Razor blades to say this, but I think Alabama will beat Florida. Alabama is the most physical team Florida has played, and the only team remotely as physical was Ole Miss. We all know how that turns out. Saban will have his boys ready, and they'll win with a late touchdown 27-24.

LSU is pretty physical, BP...and Fla. ripped 'em.

Florida by 7-10. Tebow rushes for 100 yrds in this game on broken plays/. Pick your poison with him. Let stand there and he will pick you apart or blitz him he will take off and run for 15. ESPECIALLY on 3rd down.

However i do not think the FL defense is as good as Al but I am not sure they have to be.

you just have to score more points that the other team to win, and i think they will!!!

Both teams are well coached and will be prepared and ready to play. Both defenses are good. I think Florida has the advantage on offense. Even if Bama stops Tebow and Harvin can't play, they can still score in so many ways they will get some of those speedy players across the goal line. I wouldn't be surprised if it got ugly for Bama quick. Should be a great game with a shot at the NC at stake.

In 2006 Aub. beat the gators 27-17, in 2007 Aub. beat the Gators 17-20, 2006 Ark lost the game but did score 28 points on the Gators, and then the Ole Miss game in 2008.
Myers has lots of trouble from teams that play smash mouth football.

Saban has been succesful defending the wild hog,wild rebel, hybrid spread option or what ever meyers calls it.

Florida by a lot. Because their offense, defense, special teams, and coach are better than Alabama's. I say this hoping that Alabama does win. I just don't think they have a chance.
