Pick the Alabama/Florida winner and why

I hate both but hope Florida wins cant stand to listen to the Alabama fans at work run their mouths for a month about going to the title game LOL..

Alabama will win it the game is close. We can play with anybody if we play our style of football. If we get into a track meet, I am not sure but Flordia has the advantage then.

Alabama wins if we play tough defense and don't go for the fakes -- Saban has installed a very good front seven this year.
Alabama also has an advantage in the defensive pass coverages, I am not sure that Tebow has seen a defense as varied as Bama plays.
It will be a very physical game and we have played this style all year. I am not sure that Flordia's defense can stand up to the constant pounding with two, possibly three of their defensive linemen out for the game.

Florida wins if we get into a scoring race, we are not explosive, just very methodical and physical.

i like alabama in this one why defence bama must get 14 pts on defence but i think they will time of posession will be very important in the game i think bamas d will keep the ball in our hands but i will say if bama gets through this one they may have one of the weakest offences to ever play for national title but saben is a great collage level coach it will be hard for any team to beat the tide with saben at the wheel also i think texas got the shaft this year would really be nice to see a playoff system bama 27 gators 24 is your final lol

I thought this was Alabama's year until I found out Florida was playing them in the SEC Championship. Florida is too fast and has too many offensive wrinkles to throw at them. Alabama is physical but they are also winning games by low scores. I think Florida will win by 30 points maybe more. The reason is Florida has better special teams and much faster athletes. I also think Urban Meyer will run up the score to insure he doesn't get slighted by West Coast poll voters. I think it will be FL 21-Al 3 at the end of the first quarter then it will get worse.

Not that I'm a FL or AL fan by any means, but Gators no problem and I'm lookin' forward to it - nobody in the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, or Pac 10 undefeated so you know what that means - Boise State and Utah in the national championship - until they go to a playoff system let's do it right...

I think that it will be a close game but I think that Florida will pull it out. The main reason that I think they will win is because of Tim Tebow. Having a quarterback that can pass, think, and run with the ball puts the defense at a real disadvantage. It will be fun to watch. Harvin being out will potentially be a factor but if Tebow doesn't get hurt it will be tough for 'Bama.

Still an amazing season for Bama, not to mention a BCS bowl! I cringe when I think of that Bama team for years to come! Same goes for Florida though. No doubt in my mind, they are the best team in the nation at this point

Well Bama had their chances... but Florida did just enough to fend the Tide off... man, both of these teams are gonna be scary good for the next several years- which is certainly not good for my aub. tigers... heck, we got to get us a coach first! lol

Fun game and great fellowship. I had a couple of CFF guys at the house to watch. I think that Tebow was the difference. Two well thrown TD passes and running the options all night long. I think that OK will have a tough time against them in the big bowl.

could fulmer end up at aub.i heard just yesterday the aub mascot died in a crash.he was practicing flying around the ball field with smokey in his talons. smokey was to heavy for the bird an crashed an killed both.sorry guys i just had to throw that in.but look at it this way if phil comes down you all want have to buy him any new clothes,just a little blue.ha ha.its almost the same color orange.
