Plaster of Paris is one option. There is another - silicone- that produces an exact duplicate and texture.

I've been using Softy's baits for about 8 years now. His craws, flukes, swimbaits, and finesse worms have all produced for me. He does some impressive custom work if you're looking for that special color combo. Best part of Softy's baits is the plastic - all of them are made using a very durable, buoyant formula. Makes for a different look and action. You can't beat his prices.

If you happen to order some of the craws in GP/sweet potato don't bother using them. Just mail'em all to me. I'll dispose of them for you.

New puppy Darby is working out great and she has figured out thst she has a new home for life and is coming out of her shell and I am seeing a new dog each day that wants to follow me all over the house and when I sit down she lays down right beside me................. emoToast

I will see what I can do about pouring them this coming week and sending you and invoice. Yea got new companon but shes not really a puppy. She is 5 years old and smart as a whip.

I do know the hand poured bait business has declined in recent years as my business is about 1/2 what it was say 4 years ago. I still have my dedicated anglers that continue to order baits from me though. They order a couple times a year as they run out or low on ther favorite baits. I just got a small order from one of them and I will make them for him tomorrow and get them shipped off to him this week. I had a heart attack in January and had a triple by-pass to fix the problem. I am just now getting back into making baits and it sure feels good to be back pouring again.
