I fired up my small grille this morning to smoke some pork loins real slow. I have to check it about every hour to add more charcoal and mesquit chips. It will take about 6 hours but it is worth it. Sliced across the grain about 3/8 in. thick. You don't need any sauce on these things, the smoke flavor is just right. I'll let you know how they are tonight.

Danny, the roasts might make you sick since they are so good, you are used to the sqirrell and rabbit. It takes a few years to aquire the fine taste.

I like how you hid the background so we couldnt see where they were!.......oh wait from forum, sorry!

I meant to put my driver's license and social security card by the roasts but my wife was in a hurry, wanting me to hurry up and cut off some more for her. One thing about it, the picture even smells good.

Careful, Doc, I don't know if your delicate system can handle grub that looks that good. I figgered that you'd be on soft food only by now!emoLaugh

Local Piggly Wiggly is running boneless center cut pork loin for $1.79 a pound, and I cooked my last one last week. Trying to decide if four or five is enough for the freezer right now.

Anytime you can find them on sale is the time to buy em. I usually buy mine at Sam's, they have huge ones around 4 inches in dia. that i cut into 3 pieces and freeze for future cookin.
