Where did you get your fiberglass rods? Been thinking of something similar myself.

i dont recall the exact source. if you search for fiberglass fence posts/farm supply you will find them. the 1/2 and 5/8 sizes are what im using. this deal works good and ive got like $20 in materials.

Do you have any issues with the tips wearing? That is a very sweet setup. I was thinking of a way to secure the poles and your idea is simple and slick!

There have been windy days just this week where Ive used my Power Poles and I pilot wouldnt have worked because it was too shallow. I have I pilot and Power Poles and use both very often.

I had some and sold them, Talons 12ft model will hold you in 11ft of water. Hated my power poles. Talons are far superior. Gerald Swindle figured it out. Look on the back of his new boat.

Hey Rusty, can you post a pic of your power pole set-up. I'd like to do a low cost set-up for mine. Enjoy your posts.

Found them. Thought I had looked thru all the previous posts but must have missef them some how. Do you stick the bottom or let them drag or both. Thanks

I can drag them if I need to with tm, but usually stick them in bottom. ive got a set of talons in the works and will be selling this set up once the talons are in place.
