Today we worked on my mom's parent's shed roof and finished most of the shingles. When we came home, dad asked me to help him unload the tractor. I did and he mowed the back field and came inside. He was 'most likely' on the forum when he started sneezing. He walked about three steps to get a tissue and from what I understand, he sneezed funny while walking and said he heard one of his ribs on his lower right side snap or pop. We got him to his bed and he sat up while we called his mom who was a nurse or doctor. She said to take him to the emergency room. So we got dad slowly out the door and with a lot of pain into the passenger seat. He left to go to the emergency room about twenty minutes ago. I just ask that all you guys will keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Thanks guys, I am alive, but in some kinda pain.

I was twisted around when I sneezed really hard, and heard a loud pop on my right side...horrible pain hit me.

Turns out it is a torn tendon in between my last two ribs. Hurts as much as a break, but should only take 3 weeks instead of 6 to heal.

I hope it doesn't affect your "hook-setting" abilities. Of course that assumes you can actually get a fish to bite. emoPoke emoBigsmile

Hope it heals quickly.

I so glad it wasn't anything real serious......I thought that LOAD POP could have been a button popping off your shirt.......next time you need to sneeze better straighten up and do it properly......get well soon....FA

When I was a kid, my dad seperated a muscle from his ribcage while sneezing. Scared me to death as I was the only one with him and came in to find him laying on the bed unable to move. Hope you feel better. Hang in there.
