Pre Spawn Bite?

How’s everyone been doing approaching the first full moon in April? Got skunked on Saturday and seems like a lot of folks are struggling. Going to try again on Saturday. Guess I expected the fish to be more active with 60 deg water and feeding up for the spawn.

I caught one that looked post spawn already last saturday, 6lber.. slim and red tail

I caught five on bed last sunday. Three were males and 2 were females with one looking like it just laid. I had only found one spawning bass prior to that and have caught two post spawners so far. Pre spawn bite is slowing fast!
